sometimes i just feel sooo uncool.

i spend a lot of time stroking other people's ego--telling them they're pretty, telling them they're smart, telling them that it's the world, and not them.

and yet, apart from two friends, no one really says that to me.

it makes me feel like i'm too lame and ugly to be complimented.
